With more than 35 years of experience in the beauty industry, I am a licensed professional cosmetologist, mentor, consultant, and salon owner dedicated to helping both clients and beauty professionals achieve lasting success.

As the owner and operator of Kelzcuts Suite in Naperville, Illinois, I specialize in healthy hair care, precision haircutting, and edgy short hairstyles. Throughout my career, I have built a reputation for delivering exceptional results while creating an experience that makes every client feel confident and cared for.

Along my journey, I discovered that technical talent alone wasn't enough to create the transformation clients truly desired. Something was missing—effective communication. This realization led me to develop the BE CLEAR Strategy, a communication framework designed to help beauty professionals connect more effectively with their clients.

The BE CLEAR Strategy teaches cosmetologists and cosmetology students how to communicate with confidence, listen with the intention of understanding, and respond based on what they have heard and understood. By applying these principles, professionals can build stronger client relationships, improve consultations, increase retention, and create experiences where clients feel seen, heard, and valued.

Today, I am passionate about mentoring cosmetologists and cosmetology students, helping them strengthen both their technical skills and their communication skills so they can thrive in their careers and elevate the client experience.
